Marko Robert Stech

Marko Robert Stech is a prose writer, literary scholar and cultural scientist. He holds a PhD in Slavic Languages and Literatures. Stech is a director of the Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studies Publishing (Edmonton-Toronto). Laureate of the Koshelivets International Literary Prize (2008), the Gogol International Literary Prize (2009) and the Hlodosk Treasure International Prize (2014).
Stech compiled the two-volume book Selected Ezra Pound (Penman Publishing House, 2017), the anthology (in Czech) Marko Robert Stech and Lucie Řehoříková, Ukrajina, Davaj, Ukrajina! Antologie současných ukrajinských povídek (Brno: Větrné mlýny, 2012) and the book Ih. Kostets'kyi. The Whole World Belongs to You (Krytyka Publishing House, 2005).
Books in Ukrainian: He is the author of the books Essays in Search of Sources (Penman Publishing House, 2016) and the novel The Voice (Terra Incognita Publishing House, 2018), which will be presented at the Book Arsenal Festival.
