Rules for visitors

Dear Visitors! We warmly welcome you on your visit to Mystetskyi Arsenal.

We kindly ask you to help us to protect and preserve objects of cultural heritage. That’s why, as well as in the interest of the safety, wellbeing and security of all of our visitors, it is prohibited to:

  • touch exhibits, showcases, installations, if there is no appropriate permission or call;
  • go beyond limiting lines in front of or around exhibits;
  • cross the fence and enter non-exposition spaces, as well as technical premises;
  • do a professional photo and video shooting with flash and tripods without prior approval from the administration;
  • bring firearms, prickly and cutting objects, explosive, flammable, poisonous and other substances (Security will check bags and packages larger than A4 format)
  • enter the exposition space with large and bulky items such as bags, backpacks, suitcases, bicycles, etc., except of wheelchairs and baby carriages (please leave the outerwear in the cloakroom)
  • take out exhibits, equipment, devices, materials from gallery;
  • enter the exhibition space with food and beverages (eating/drinking is allowed only in specially equipped places)
  • bring pets to Mystetskyi Arsenal; smoke in the Mystetskyi Arsenal building;
  • make inscriptions on buildings or objects located on the territory;
  • paste up or distribute printed materials;
  • carry out any commercial services not previously agreed with the administration;
  • in other ways to violate public order.

Visitors who violate the established rules can be withdrawn from the territory of the Complex and brought to responsibility in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine.

Please note that that children under the age of 14 years must be on the territory of the Complex exclusively accompanied by adults.

Buying a ticket to attend a cultural event or visiting an event on the basis of an invitation, is an acceptance of the offer agreement for the provision of services by the National Cultural-Arts and Museum Complex “Mystetskyi Arsenal” to attend a cultural and artistic event, and confirms that you familiarize yourself with the Rules for Visitors published on this site and the Mystetskyi Arsenal checkout (in accordance with the procedure of Articles 641-642 of the Civil Code of Ukraine).

The Visitor agrees to adhere to the Rules and also independently bears responsibility for the consequences that may result from violations of the Rules, including, but not limited to, property damage, damage to the health,  lives of visitors and/or third parties etc.
