Poet, prose and fantasy writer, critic and translator, Galina has authored many prose pieces and five collections of poems. She is the laureate of the Kyiv Lavry festival and many Russian awards. She Galine has translated poems by Kateryna Babkina, Vasyl Holoborodko, Mariana Kiyanovska, Halyna Kruk, Vasyl Makhno and others. Her poems and prose have been published in English, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Estonian, Slovak, Slovenian, Ukrainian, Hungarian and Latvian.
Books in Ukrainian: In 2016, Maria Galina’s novel Aboriginals was published in Ukrainian, translated by Iya Kiva, at Folio.
