A unique sculpture collection in «World Plastic Art Masterpieces» project. Names, without which the art history cannot be imagined. Mystetskyi Arsenal hosts an opening of a unique exhibition «World Plastic Art Masterpieces», which will be showcasing art works from a private collection of a well-known collector and patron – Igor Voronov.

The exposition will feature nearly 150 pieces by prominent artists, whose work has become a landmark in a history of visual culture: Edgar Degas, Olexander Arkhipenko, Jean Arp, Constantin Brancusi, Rembrandt Bugatti, Paul Gauguin, Dali, Alberto and Diego Giacometti, Jacques Lipschitz, Aristide Maillol Henry Moore, Hannah Orlova, Pablo Picasso, Auguste Rodin, Ossip Zadkine, Demetre Haralamb Chiparus.

«World Plastic Art Masterpieces» exhibition covers periods of experimentation with form, when epatage and search for new creative methods congruously combined for the birth of “other” plastics. The project exposition will present a diverse background of plastics development in XX century: from post-impressionism and art deco to cubism, from neo-classicism to surrealism.

«World Plastic Art Masterpieces” exhibition aims to draw attention to pressing needs of Mystetskyi Arsenal – the leading museum complex of Ukraine, which currently is a construction work in progress, but has been bringing to life the most ambitious art and cultural projects of national and international importance for more than 5 years.
