Inna Khasilieva (born 1984, Odesa) is a Ukrainian artist who has been living in Israel since 2021. In search of her own style, she experimented a lot with both meaning and form: for some time, she was creating works on pressing social issues, and later she started addressing less sharp, but more expressive interpretations of reality. She was engaged in painting, graphics, and media art.
In September 2011, she presented a series of 16 paintings “The Parts of the Whole” at the Mystetskyi Arsenal. In this series, the author makes an attempt to combine personal, deeply intimate experiences with the global problem of losing integrity of worldview and world perception, losing a clear idea of life goals, moral and aesthetic criteria. In the context of recent events in Ukraine, “The Parts of the Whole” is gaining new meanings, with a focus on maintaining the mental resilience of a person who is under constant daily pressure.
