On the Citizenship of People, Plants and Animals to Children

In the autumn of 2016, Alevtina Kakhidze was invited to cooperate with Patriotic Education Stand in one rural school. There was an argument that nowadays such a stand has to be in each school. At that time the artist refused to cooperate, but asked herself: how to talk with children on such a complex subject as patriotism? She was developing her stand for almost a year: there were black and white drawings with questions on which the child can write his or her own answers or use the hints that were called On the Citizenship of People, Plants and Animals to Children. Currently, Kakhidze conducts performance dialogues with children in the presence of teachers and parents in different parts of Ukraine, collecting pictures by children, comparing and analyzing their answers and constantly improving her own stand.
