At the time, Mykola Matsenko’s ironic diptych The Museum / Restaurant was a reflection on the position of the museum community representatives who considered the establishment of service infrastructure a real insult to the high purpose of their institutions. Today, the former heated debates make no more sense. Under the current circumstances, this diptych looks like a marker of our pre-war life which we are trying to restore, at least in fragments, including by opening the Mystetskyi Arsenal for visitors.
