OPEN CONTEST OF PROJECTS 2019

The Mystetskyi Arsenal invites curators, artists and art groups, museum and gallery workers, as well as collectors to take part in the open contest of exhibition art projects. The winning project will be implemented at the Mystetskyi Arsenal in 2020-2021.

The project has to:
◾  correspond to the Mystetskyi Arsenal’s mission and values;
◾  raise current social issues, as well as introduce prominent phenomena of art and intellectual culture;
◾  cover the space of one wing of the Mystetskyi Arsenal (expositional area: 4 000 sq. m);
◾  include an educational component;
◾  have a clean-cut implementation plan and a credible budget.

The project may be:
◾  of multi-disciplinary nature;
◾  developed in cooperation with several institutions.

An important professional criterion for selection is the high artistic quality of the project. This is set as a result of an expert discussion of the members of the Program Council of the Mystetskyi Arsenal.
Projects with approved sources of funding are favored. However, this is not a mandatory requirement.
The Mystetskyi Arsenal is open to consultations and joint development of the selected project.

The estimated period of project implementation: 2020-2021.
