Temporary Un/Availability. Ukrainian-Austrian Art Residency 2021
Laboratory of Contemporary Art Mala Gallery of Mystetskyi Arsenal had finished the joint exhibition of residents of the international program Temporary Un/Availability. Ukrainian-Austrian Art Residency 2021, organized by Mystetskyi Arsenal and the Austrian Cultural Forum in Kyiv in cooperation with the Department of Culture and Arts of the Government of Lower Austria. The project aims at strengthening the international connection between Ukrainian and Austrian artists and supporting them.
Results of the project “Temporary Un/Availability. Ukrainian-Austrian Art Residency 2021”
Ten artists from Austria and Ukraine took part in the two-month residency. The program took place in a hybrid format — online and offline. The participants formed five tandems. In the dialogue, they worked on the creation of multimedia projects on the topic of place and its un/availability due to the global epidemic situation.

The exhibition lasted from September 25 to October 23 in Mala Gallery of Mystetskyi Arsenal.
