Andriy Kyrychenko is a figure in the field of cultural enrichment of modern Ukraine, a participant of a number of international creative collaborations, producer and performer of experimental music, founder and key person of the NextSound festival and the Nexsound label.

Over 25 years of music career, he has released more than 40 albums of different formats on such labels as Staalplaat, Spekk, Ad Noiseam, Zeromoon, Bip-Hop, Neo Ouija, etc. The latest release Overt on the Japanese label Spekk was warmly welcomed in the establishment of electronic experimenters.


This year, within the framework of the Book Arsenal Festival, NextSound is planning to become a certain counterpoint, a harmonizing accompaniment for the integration of electronic and acoustic music, as well as media art into the event space. To this end, a three-day program will involve prominent foreign music guests and local performers with a variety of creative tools and techniques, and Andriy Kyrychenko will be the curator of the festival’s musical program.
